1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InvoiceCrafter (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and InvoiceCrafter (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

InvoiceCrafter is an online invoice creation and management tool designed for service professionals, independent contractors, and small businesses. The Service allows users to create, send, and manage professional invoices and estimates, track time, and manage client relationships.

3. Account Terms

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You represent that you are at least 18 years old.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create or send invoices for any illegal purpose or activity
• Invoice for goods or services that violate any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Upload or transmit any content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, or offensive
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use the Service to process payments for third parties without proper authorization

5. Payment Terms

Payments processed through InvoiceCrafter are handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By using the payment features, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Fees: InvoiceCrafter may charge fees for certain features or subscription tiers. All fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy: If you are not satisfied with your subscription or paid service, you may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. To request a refund, contact us at support@invoicecrafter.com with your account details and reason for the refund request. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that abuse this policy.

Payment disputes: If a client disputes a payment or initiates a chargeback, you are responsible for resolving the dispute directly with the client. We are not responsible for disputes between invoice creators and their clients.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Our intellectual property: The Service, including all content, features, designs, logos, and software, is owned by InvoiceCrafter and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Your content: You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using the Service, including invoice content, client information, and any custom designs. You grant us a limited license to use your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceCrafter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or information posted through the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply stop using the Service or contact us at support@invoicecrafter.com to request account deletion.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within Wisconsin.
